I find the work of a Chaplain is a privileged position which is both educative and inspiring.

I thank God for the opportunity.

"Being there" - walking with people in their life situation is a wonderful experience—sharing the hope, joy and sorrow and affirming the dignity of every person.

Industrial Chaplaincy - Trafford Park

I am privileged to be Chaplain to St Antony's Centre for Church and Industry here in Trafford Park and to be a member of the Greater Manchester Industrial Mission Team.

The two companies I visit on a regular basis are Kellogg's and Unilever Best Foods.

I am also Chaplain to Greater Manchester Police Headquarters at Chester House.

With my association with our Centre, I am in contact with a number of Trade Union and Management Groups within and outside Trafford Park.

The Chaplaincy is well received by those who work in the Park and it is a positive help in my ongoing formation as a person and a Priest.

Meeting people in their place of work, learning from them about how work affects their lives and the lives of their families.

An essential factor of the Chaplaincy is the total confidentiality so that people know they can be certain that what they share of a personal nature is never disclosed.
